Sweet Kiddles – Premier On-Demand Daycare

Sweet Kiddles, a flexible daycare operation that provides unique solutions for busy parents, will occupy front retail space in the Centric building located on the corner of Circle Drive and Mayfield Road in the heart of University Circle.

Home to world-renowned museums, universities, hospitals, restaurants and parks, University Circle is one of the largest employment drivers in Ohio. As one of the state’s fastest growing districts, many of its residents are working professionals with limited options for daycare for their families.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sweet Kiddles to Centric,” said Midwest Development Partners’ Steve Rubin.  “When we put together our wish list for prospective tenants on the ground floor commercial space we were amenity and service oriented in our goals. The CRESCO team did a fantastic job locating a first class child care, preschool and babysitting facility that not addresses the needs of our tenants, but the surrounding area as well.”

Described as an on-demand daycare facility, Sweet Kiddles is a rapidly growing company that offers monthly memberships and a “pay-per-hour” structure that provides parents maximum flexibility for their busy schedules, including evening hours, to accommodate the late-night working professionals. They currently operate four locations across Northeast Ohio, including facilities in Avon Lake, Hudson, Medina, and Strongsville.

Sweet Kiddles will move into approximately 9,000 square feet of retail frontage, including 3,000 square feet for an indoor playground. Developed and owned by Midwest Development partners the building offers 300 apartment units with first-class amenities such as attached parking, rooftop deck, courtyard and premier fitness center, Tremont Athletic Club.

“We were tasked by our client to find a daycare operator for this development, and Sweet Kiddles was a glove fit,” said Leb. “One challenge we had to overcome was figuring out a way to offer Sweet Kiddles an outdoor play space to meet the state guidelines. We were able to figure out a unique indoor/outdoor play space using a sliding glass wall system that satisfies the requirement and should provide a year-round play space for Sweet Kiddles clientele.”
